    past continuous tense / forme interrogative =>

    1- Was he driving a sports car?

    2- Were Brent and George smoking ?

    3- Was she speaking English ?

    4- Were we going to go there yesterday ?

    5- Was I reading a book ?

    6- Was Ben writing a letter to his mother or friend ?

    7- Was the old lady walking with a stick ?

    8- Were you waiting at the bus-stop?

    9- Was he taking the dog for a walk ?

    10- Was Jenny filling the bucket with water ?

    Le past continuous est aussi appelé "prétérit en Be + V-ing"

    On utilise l'auxiliaire "Bé" au prétérit, donc "was" ou "were" suivi du verbe + -ing

    Pour les formes interrogatives et négatives, étant donné que "BE" est déjà un auxiliaire, on n'utilise pas "did" prétérit de "do".

    Interrogation

    Was/were + sujet + V-ing + ?

    Négation

    Sujet + was/were + not + V-ing.
